How To Quickly Refresh Floor Standing Iron Candle Holders

Hello everyone, welcome to another edition of Frugal Decor Tuesday where I'm coming to you by candlelight. With Valentine's Day around the corner, I thought it would be the perfect time to share how I quickly gave a couple of $8 Goodwill Floor Standing Candle Holders A Refresh With White Paint.

How To Quickly Refresh Floor Standing Iron Candle Holders

This is what they looked like before...

Tall Iron thrift store candlesticks before

Three thin coats of Rustoleum Primer White spray paint and they are humming the Wedding March. You can see by the reflection in the fireplace glass that our feline child, Rex could care less.

To add some rustic charm, I distressed the painted candle holders with a sanding block to reveal some of the iron underneath.

To dress up the tall white pillar candles I sewed a couple of burlap sleeves from ribbon I had in my stash.

I will sew regular burlap sleeves for the candles and embellish the candle holders with tulle and flowers for a wedding.

In the meantime, they look pretty with a vintage Parisian vibe in my living room.

The blanket by the fire with wine for two is for your viewing pleasure only. I drink white.

Besides, if I parked this butt on the floor, especially after a glass of wine, I'd have one of those I've fallen and can't get up moments.
