Snickerdoodle Create Bake Make Link Party 371

You don't realize how much you appreciate having hot water flowing from your taps until you don't have it. We woke up Sunday morning to cold water and spent the next 4 1/2 days with canners on the stove heating water the old fashioned way.

Our hot water tank was still on warranty and things happened at a snail's pace to FINALLY get it fixed! Needless to say, hot showers and baths now feel like a luxury not to be taken for granted.

I've been quite enjoying the valentine's ideas that you shared with us last week. I'm looking forward to seeing all the creative projects and recipes shared again this week. Let's get this party started!

    1. Ahhh thanks Amy, I am enjoying the hot water more than ever, especially considering it is -33C (-27F) outside today. Need the hot water to warm up!

  3. Love your features and thanks for hosting! I got tickled when I read about your hot water heater breaking. Our hot water tank broke almost two weeks ago, too. It was over ten years old so not under warranty. Hubby tried to fix it but couldn't and then had the idea to have a "tankless" water heater installed so we had to wait on an estimate. The cost was outrageous since we would have had to install a new outside meter reader system, tool! We finally had a tank installed after many trips to Lowes and Home Depot and lots of cold water washings! Men!!!!!!

    1. Oh no, not you too! Those cold water washings are the worst, especially when the temperature outside is -33C (-27F). I'm still trying to warm up several days later! Cheers to hot table water!
