Easy No Brainer Recycled Fall Wreath Idea
Do you recycle your old wreaths? With limited storage in our humble abode, there isn't a lot of room for storing seasonal decor. So instead of making brand new seasonal wreaths, I recycle the old ones we've grown tired of into new to us wreaths. It minimizes storage but also saves a lot of money.
So what makes this an easy no brainer DIY fall wreath? Seasonal picks and garland! All of them, including the wreath form, are recycled from former wreath incarnations.

Easy Recycled Fall Wreath DIY
Seriously, this wreath is so easy to make that you can have it hanging on the door within 15 minutes! No hot glue required because remember, this wreath too shall be recycled one day. Here's how I made it

The first thing that should be done is to clean the old grapevine wreath form, the fall picks, and the fall leaf garland. I use a spray water bottle in the laundry sink. Spray everything, including the grapevine wreath well, let them dry on an old towel and they look brand new.
But if some of the embellishments are fabric like my little scarecrow, then just vacuum or wipe the dust off with a damp cloth or baby wipes work fabulously too.
You may recognize some of the picks from this Fall Wreath With Banner from a few years ago and the leftover berries from this Orange Sunflower Wreath. But I also recycled the orange floral thingies (don't know what they're called) from this Flannel Shirt Wreath.
There are no rules!
...well there are but meh we're keeping this one footloose and fancy-free.
These are the cleaned and recycled accouterments from some old wreaths that I used to make this new DIY autumn wreath.
We'll start with the largest element, the fall leaf garland. Wrap it around the inside circle of the wreath and then continue on the outside circle. Attach it every so often with florist wire so it can easily be removed the next time you recycle the wreath.
You can see the leaves are a little willy nilly and that's okay, we're not going for perfection here. Once the embellishments are added it will hardly be noticeable.
Now we'll add the next largest embellishment, the acorn picks. Simply tuck them between the grapevine stems so they look balanced around the wreath.
Now we'll add the large white berry picks to fill the voids.
Add a big loopy bow on the bottom. I can't make a bow for the life of me so I cheat and use this handy bow maker tool. I'd be lost without this thing!
Add a large embellishment like my scarecrow pick or whatever you have on hand and we.are.done.

How To Assemble The New Recycled Fall Wreath
The main thing to think about when assembling the wreath is balance. Make sure the embellishments are equally balanced around the wreath. There are no rules!
