Super Easy Dollar Store Easter Wreath DIY
Hey friends, it's Int'l Bloggers Club day on this first Monday of Spring and our group challenge this month is EGGcellent Hoppity Easter. Quite the feat considering my office/craft room is in complete shambles right now as the room is being painted. But I did manage to unearth one of my craft bins amongst the rubble and come up with a super easy dollar store Easter wreath DIY idea. And to my delight, the floral picks I had on hand are eggs!
This five-minute craft is a budget-friendly Easter decor idea because everything used to make it is from the dollar store. But before I show you how to make the DIY Easter wreath let's talk a little bit about the Int'l Bloggers Club. If you are new here and haven't heard of us, we are a group of blogging friends from around the world who come together every month to share a themed DIY project.
We have members from Spain, South Africa, Australia, the United States, and Canada. I'm from a hamlet east of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Home of the Edmonton Oilers NHL Hockey Team and West Edmonton Mall, one of the largest malls in the world. We are a 4-hour drive east of Jasper National Park and 5-hour drive north of Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies.
Links to my talented friend's Easter ideas are at the bottom of the post. For the last Vintage Valentine challenge, I made a pretty Vintage Style Valentine Door Hanger that I plan on displaying year-round.
These are the dollar store supplies I used to make the DIY wreath. This post contains affiliate links so you can see what products I used or recommend for this project. As an Amazon Associate, I earn a small commission from qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you.
I love the simplicity of this wreath and the fullness of the festive Easter egg florals. At only 8-inches in diameter, it's the perfect size to hang on a mirror, a wall hook, or a cupboard door.
Seriously, all you do to make this super easy DIY wreath is to wrap two different styles of Easter egg floral picks from the dollar store around the wreath. You'll need three of each style for an 8-inch wreath form.
Have the floral picks face the same direction and secure them to the grapevine wreath with black craft wire, like pictured below.
Layer the next style of Easter floral picks and wire them onto the wreath form. Fluff the picks to your liking to make the wreath nice and full. Make a loop on the back with florist wire for a hanger and that's it, you're done! No bow, no fuss.
One of my favorite crafts is making seasonal wreaths for around our home. I made this Spring Garden Lovers Wreath with dollar store finds as well. For more seasonal DIY inspiration check out my Spring|Easter page on the blog or my Seasonal Craft Board on Pinterest.

I'm not a big fan of wreaths, but I would put this little one on my door any day of the week. She looks so happy and free. Kinda like a boho gypsy dressed in pastels doing a rain dance ;-)
ReplyDeleteYou just made my morning, Michelle! I almost spit my coffee all over my computer screen. LOL
DeleteYour so very talented when using dollar store craft supplies. I always think about what you would make when looking in there, especially the little bird houses and anything wood. This wreath is lovely especially with the little seed pearls around the outside, it reminds me of the little wreaths you buy at a local gift shop for Much more.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Leanna, I'm glad you like my simple little wreath. Girl, the dollar store craft talent goes right back to you! Case in point, your adorable dollar store Easter craft today! Oftentimes, I'll see your dollar store ideas and think, I walked right past that item and never would have thought to do that with it.
