10 Most Popular Posts of 2013

The year 2013 has been such an incredible year as a newbie blogger. I feel so blessed to be able to spend my days doing what I love and sharing that passion with others. As this amazing year comes to an end, I've spent some time digging in the archives to see which projects were the 10 Most Popular Posts of 2013.

10 Most Popular Posts of 2013

Some came as a total surprise because they were projects I debated whether or not to post them. Others I was pleased to see made the cut because I am especially proud of the results. Sometimes it's the least likely posts that gain the most interest and that is always a pleasant surprise.

Number 10 - Faux Secretary From Repurposed Dresser

4 Drawer Dresser Turned Faux Secretary
This is a personal favorite because the dresser was my parent's first dresser when they married in the late 50s. We needed a small desk and a dresser with just a couple of drawers for our guest room and so we created the best of both worlds by repurposing the 4-drawer dresser to accommodate both.

Vintage Nesting Table Makeover
This table makeover is a perfect example of the difference between spray painted furniture and chalk painted furniture. I went into the zone on this makeover with a handpainted French graphic as well.

Cans of refried beans came to the rescue for this one! The pallet wood holiday centerpiece is not difficult to make. If you have an artificial tree, you can get the wonderful pine scent of a real tree by filling it with fresh evergreens. The possibilities for decorating this wood centerpiece are endless.

Most Popular Post Of 2013 - Plant Pots To Water Fountain

Plant Pot Water Fountain
Our little water feature blew me away with its popularity! The idea to make it came while enjoying my morning coffee on the deck. It took me a bit to figure it out how to turn our old flower pots into a water fountain but once I did, it came together quickly.
