Back in January I heard about an interesting group called Big & Littles Blogging Network. At the time I was feeling
a bit a lot overwhelmed with managing my blog. Although I had come a long way from where I began the next step to growing my blog was beyond my scope of knowledge. In need of another set of eyes with more experience under their belt, I decided this might be something I needed to give a try.
That is how I met Kate over at
Kate has been blogging for 4 years and she blogs about her family, recipes, crafts, and DIY projects. This was her first time signing up for the Big & Littles and so we both were newbies to the program. She immediately went to work doing a visual audit of my blog and provided much needed candid feedback as to where and how I could improve its appearance.
For those of you who have been following my blog prior to 2014 you have probably noticed several changes to The Interior Frugalista header and sidebar. I have Kate to thank for that because she gave me a fresh new perspective. I immediately went to work implementing her recommendations.
Then we went deeper into discussions about SEO, Time Management, Affiliate Marketing, and Blog Monetization. I can honestly say as our two month collaboration comes to an end, I have learned so much from her and am excited to work towards achieving all of the goals we discussed.
But what was most special about this experience is that I've gained a new blogger friend and for that I am grateful!
THANK YOU KATEWhat is Bigs & Littles you ask?
This is a partnering of bloggers to teach, to learn and to grow that lasts two months. In the Bigs & Littles Blogging Network big & little bloggers are matched together. Each of us regardless of size or experience has something we can give back to others. Throughout this program you will have the ability to build a new friendship, share experiences, teach, and learn. We know that sometimes in the beginning days of our blogs we were frustrated, even sometimes now we just need a little blogging advice. We just felt that sometimes we were at a loss, with no one to help us understand how blogging worked. This is something that we feel never changes, yes our blogs have grown tremendously, but with that comes a whole new set of issues that arise.
Have you ever felt the same?
Well we can tell you that sometimes asking another blogger questions and advice can be quite frustrating and intimidating. Well if you are looking for a way to meet someone to share advice and just someone to lean on through your blogging experience, then this may be the perfect program for you. Want help designing your blog, learning how to grow your blog, or just some general advice then we suggest that you take a moment to contemplate this program!
